Overview
Elicit develops AI-supported research synthesis and evidence review.
What Elicit does
Elicit supports scientific research and evidence reviews. Researchers use it to search academic literature, screen studies, extract information and build cited research outputs, from an initial question through a systematic literature review.
Semantic search helps find relevant papers without requiring an exact keyword match. Screening and extraction workflows organize evidence into structured tables, while reports can be customized by the studies and information included. A source library keeps material available for subsequent projects.
The research agent combines scientific databases, public information and uploaded documents to produce reports, tables and other artifacts. Sentence-level citations connect generated claims to the underlying material. Routines support recurring checks for new research in fields such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, academia and policy.
