Overview
Elysian delivers claims-quality software and hands-on TPA services for complex insurance work.
What Elysian does
Elysian combines AI software and expert claims services for complex commercial insurance. Carriers can engage its team for end-to-end handling or use review and monitoring capabilities to support their own adjusters.
Its Ely tools organize claim information, surface coverage and liability issues and support communication drafts. Dynamic Claim Review examines portfolios, while continuous monitoring highlights handling issues in open files before they become larger exposures.
The service is built around experienced claims professionals making judgment-intensive decisions such as strategy and negotiation. Its founder Grace Hanson previously led claims organizations at several insurers. Elysian’s September 2025 seed announcement described funding to expand technology, delivery and onboarding, rather than a capital reserve for underwriting insurance policies.
Differentiation
Complex-claim focus
The product and service address information-heavy commercial files, including review and handling quality, rather than only simple claims intake.
Software and TPA services
A carrier can support existing adjusters or delegate handling to Elysian’s professionals. Those are distinct allocations of operational responsibility.
