Overview
Medroid develops clinical workflow software and managed operations for independent practices.
What Medroid does
Medroid supports the administrative and coordination work around independent medical practices. Its Cowork workspace connects chart information with tasks such as lab-result preparation, referrals, prior authorization, follow-up, recalls and pre-visit planning.
Teams can operate Cowork themselves or use Cowork Managed to delegate an agreed workflow to Medroid’s delivery team under doctor supervision. An AI-native EHR is a third offering, with a different migration, access and operating scope.
The workflow separates preparation from approval: compiling evidence, drafting a message or proposing a next action does not send it to a patient or replace a clinical decision. Responsibilities and included work are defined during onboarding, including the distinction between the practice’s reviewers and a managed delivery team.
Differentiation
A choice of operator
Cowork and Cowork Managed distinguish a practice-operated workflow from one delegated to Medroid’s team.
Review before clinical action
Prepared material, authorized clinical judgment and transmission to a patient are separate steps in the published model.
Pricing
Cowork uses a subscription plus workflow usage, with AskMedroid included. Managed workflows and the EHR have separately scoped proposals covering access, usage and implementation.
