Puzzle combines AI accounting software with optional accounting services. Businesses and accounting firms can use its general ledger directly, or add expert-reviewed bookkeeping and a fully managed monthly close without moving to a different platform.

The software connects banks, cards and operating systems to support transaction categorization, reconciliation, accruals, revenue recognition and invoicing. AI Chat, Cowork and Close help accountants investigate activity and prepare financials, while cash, burn and runway reporting keeps owners informed between closes.

Service levels range from a monthly expert review for straightforward businesses to full-service bookkeeping with a named bookkeeper. Migration, catch-up bookkeeping, tax filing and R&D studies are separately scoped additions. An API and MCP connection allow the accounting record to be used within other tools and agent workflows.
