What Clara does
Clara combines an AI-supported primary-care experience with a licensed clinical team. Members can bring together medical records, interact through secure messaging and access video visits, with optional wearable connections and biomarker testing depending on the plan.
AI helps read the patient’s longitudinal history and prepare prescription refills, lab orders and care-plan material. Licensed physicians make the clinical decisions and review prescriptions and lab orders. The AI interface itself is not a licensed physician, which is a distinct boundary from the medical practice and people delivering care.
The service is organized as a membership, with progressively more frequent video visits and additional preventive-health data in higher tiers. Its founding team includes former Circle Medical operators alongside clinical, product and regulatory leadership, connecting software development with the operations of a virtual practice.
