Overview
CollectiveSpend delivers agentic sourcing and tail-spend management with procurement expertise.
What CollectiveSpend does
CollectiveSpend’s METIS combines a procurement marketplace, managed Buying Desk and AI sourcing engine for enterprise tail spend. Repeat purchases can use a pre-negotiated catalogue, while non-catalogue needs become a sourcing event with specialist support available.
A buyer submits a requirement in plain language, an email or a file. Agents build RFQs, identify and assess suppliers, compare bids and negotiate against the customer’s criteria. Recommendations can account for price, capacity, terms, lead time and risk before routing through the required approval process.
For organizations with ERP-controlled procurement, METIS can pass the request into the existing system for approval and purchase-order creation, then receive the order back. The Buying Desk handles complex sourcing work within agreed thresholds. The platform business, CollectiveSpend Technology FZE, is distinct from its sister consultancy, CollectiveSpend Consultancy LLC.
Differentiation
Software and managed sourcing
A customer can use the catalogue, delegate a sourcing task to the Buying Desk or use the agentic engine. Those options place different responsibilities with the customer and delivery team.
Governance around the purchase
Supplier scoring and negotiation lead into configured approval and ERP purchase-order workflows, rather than ending at a list of suggested vendors.
Pricing
The marketplace is advertised at no cost to the buyer, with supplier-paid commission. That statement applies to the marketplace; managed sourcing and other engagement terms are scoped separately.
